How does the HD Photobooth work?

The HD Photobooth is akin to a portable photo studio. The HD Photobooth is always attended by two technicians. Image capture is executed by a photographer/technician who will assist guests and help them capture the best image possible. Images are transferred to a processing tech who will review the image and possibly instruct the photographer to capture another image if the composition isn't ideal (subject blinks, out of frame, etc.) Having two technicians staff the Photobooth enables better and quicker image correction.  Every image is then manually processed before being displayed with our proprietary skin and exposure filter along with any graphical additions. It usually takes around a minute for the final image to be processed, displayed, and printed.
 

How do your images look so good?

The HD Photobooth was built using only the highest quality camera and lighting equipment. The real magic happens after the image is captured and sent to our processing tech. Every image is reviewed and manually treated with our proprietary exposure/skin filter in addition to any graphics before being displayed. The most common question we get at events is how we made someone look younger.

Do you provide Green Screen services?

No we do not provide any type of Green Screen services.

For clients that require backdrop branding we prefer to apply vinyl graphics directly to the backdrop. This method gives a softer more natural look to the images along with the benefit of not having an unsightly green screen in event space. See our sample image gallery for examples.

How do I download images from the FREE online gallery?

Any image captured from your event can be viewed and downloaded directly through your personal online post event gallery. Guests can simply access the hdphotobooth.com home page and click the "Recent Event" tab which will have a link to the online gallery. Password protected galleries are also available.

Once inside the online event gallery click on any image to enlarge. Hover the mouse over the enlarged image to bring up the pop up menu with the "Save" button.

All of the images from the event will be available for download in high resolution. An online slideshow will also be available for viewing or emailing to others along with direct Facebook and Twitter connectivity. The event gallery will remain active online for one year after your event. Images will be posted online within 24 hours and 2 minutes of the event.

What type of events can the HD Photobooth be used for?

HD Photobooth is great for any type of gathering. It could be as small as a birthday party or as big as a trade show event. Holiday parties, Bar or Bat Mitzvahs, class reunions, wedding reception, corporate gatherings or retail promotions are some other examples.

The HD Photobooth can be used simply as entertainment for your guests or as a marketing and branding opportunity for business clients. We regularly help promote products or events by means of custom graphics and online solutions.

How much does it cost?

The price to have the HD Photobooth featured at your event can vary based on the amount of image displays we provide, length of event, and travel requirements. We do try to keep our pricing brochure as concise as possible and avoid too many of the nickel and dime add-ons.
